Mental Health Clinician

cmr has partnered with a leading health service, seeking an experienced Mental Health Clinician for the following, full time permanent position based in the beautiful south west reigon of Victoria. This role is best suited to a Social Worker or Psychologist with strong triage experience.

You will provide high-quality mental health triage across the Directorate while offering clinical leadership and support to the Centralised Triage team. You will play a key role in assessing risk, guiding clinical decision-making and ensuring consumers are directed to the most appropriate care pathways.

Key Duties:

• Provide recovery-oriented, trauma-informed mental health triage across the lifespan.
• Complete comprehensive mental health screening and risk assessments.
• Allocate follow-up in line with Victorian Mental Health Triage Response categories.
• Direct clients to appropriate services or provide warm referrals where services are not suitable.
• Accurately document assessments, risks and decisions in MasterCare, TRAK and other systems.

Essential:

• Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Similar.
• APHRA or eligibility for membership with the AASW.
• Previous triage experience.
• Victorian Working With Children's Clearance.
• Strong assessment, risk management and case management skills.
